What's Happening in the Garden
Baby lubbers are taking over!
The mango is in bloom, despite taking a pretty good hit from the brutal winter of 2010.
My loquat has gotten eaten up- perhaps by lubbers?
The plant that was growing up the shed and hanging on by its teeth when I bought the house has died, making room for the grapevine I've dreamed of!
This is a pic of the jasmine in bloom from 2009, but it is just beginning to bloom again.
What's Growing
- Herb Garden (thyme, sweet basil, catnip, marjoram, parsley)
- Rome Tomatoes (Lowe's plant 4/25/10)
- Strawberries (Lowe's plants 2/15/09-- there is still one plant in the pot, but don't know if there is any chance of it producing at this point)
- Pineapple (potted pineapple crown around 12/20/08)

- Grow sunflower seeds
